Go cowboy! Cheer on Australian cowboy David Elliott in the saddle bronc event the renowned Noonamah Rodeo in Australia's Northern Territory.
Saddle Bronc is a rodeo event that involves the cowboy riding a horse that attempts to throw or buck off the rider. The horse bucks because it has a soft flank strap fitted around the very ticklish flank region. Originally based on the necessary horse breaking skills needed for working cowboys, the event is now a highly stylized competition that utilises horses specially bred for strength, agility and bucking ability.

This fantastic image was captured by a young photographer who lives in the Northern Territory on a cattle station of more than a million acres. Her name is Sandy Bauer from Barkly at Heart photography. Sandy told us a bit more about her passion for photography:
"I am a sister, a daughter, a friend, a positive advocate and a rural photographer. I have grown up on a cattle station in the Barkly, Northern Territory. At the age of thirteen, I discovered my passion for photography. I began to share with people what rural life was all about and the work that is really involved. My biggest passion in photography is being able to photograph the events that I attend and the variety of animals that surround me like rodeos and my personal favourite, campdrafts."
We're sure you'll agree that Sandy is an amazing young photographer and you can see more of her work on her Facebook page - Barkly at Heart.
